藝百年饗和平│金門和平藝術季，十二月十日下午二時在金門縣立體育館，金門縣政府邀請鄉親大眾共同來見證「金門和平骨牌陣、台灣第一」的歷史一刻。

本次結合建國百年系列活動的金門和平藝術季，以「藝百年饗和平」為主軸，整體活動以「鋼雕藝術節」、「和平戰地音樂節」、「和平骨牌陣」共同呈現金門難得一見的慶祝建國百年的藝術盛典。本次2011金門和平藝術季之最後總結活動將以「和平骨牌陣」挑戰國內最高紀錄三十萬片（目前國內紀錄二十七萬片）創造活動高潮，讓一片骨牌的啟動，讓全世界了解「金門」這曾經是烽火連綿的戰區，如今成為亞洲地區和平精神的象徵。

本次金門和平骨牌陣活動由金門大學學生會領軍，在主辦單位金門縣文化局與台灣骨牌協會的協助下，以報名方式邀約高達四十名金門學子在屬於國際級的競技遊戲中領略「同心協力」的真諦。本次參與活動的金門大學學生雖然常在電視上看到大型骨牌活動，但是第一次參與骨牌活動，仍不免感到緊張和興奮。

活動自十一月二十八日進場開始看到一張一張的骨牌在學生的細心下整齊排列，在骨牌拼圖漸漸呈現一張完美的圖形前，因為一時疏忽導致引發骨牌效應，雖然不免挫折，但是每位學生都會擦乾眼淚，互相加油打氣，重新再來，在整場和平骨牌陣活動中，學生們都自願犧牲課餘的時間來到金門縣立體育館進行骨牌活動，而在排列的過程中雖然陸續克服了體育館地形與圖案動線的搭配安排的種種問題，但是現今最大的難題反倒是在排列的過程中，會收到代表和平的鴿子從「天上掉下來的禮物」，每當一有鴿子經過，總是會讓學生屏氣凝神觀察鴿子飛行的動向與隨時準備飛身撲接禮物的心理準備。雖然十餘天的排列時間，只為了呈現三分鐘的讚嘆，但是在金門大學學生的努力下，相信這個讚嘆，將為金門創下台灣第一的新紀錄，十二月十日和平骨牌陣啟動典禮，金門縣政府及金門縣文化局邀請金門鄉親共同來金門縣體育館感受「金門和平骨牌陣」的魅力，更希望金門民眾能夠親自前往金門縣立體育場為這群學生加油打氣，共同創造「和平」的新契機。
