  金門縣文化局結合建國百年系列活動的金門和平藝術季以「藝百年饗和平」為主軸，並以「鋼雕藝術節」、「和平戰地音樂節」、「和平骨牌陣」來呈現金門難得一見的慶祝建國百年藝術盛典。其中，和平骨牌陣將於十二月十日舉辦啟動典禮，挑戰國內最高紀錄三十萬片（目前國內紀錄二十七萬片）創造活動高潮，用一片骨牌的啟動，讓全世界了解曾經是烽火連綿的戰地「金門」，如今成為亞洲地區和平精神的象徵。
  金門和平骨牌陣活動由金門大學學生會領軍，在主辦單位金門縣文化局與台灣骨牌協會的協助下，約有四十名金門大學學生自上個月廿八日進場開始排列骨牌，也在屬於國際級的競技遊戲，領略「同心協力」的真諦。
  參與活動的金門大學學生雖然常在電視看到大型骨牌活動，但是第一次參與骨牌活動，仍不免感到緊張和興奮。當一張一張的骨牌在學生細心、整齊排列下，骨牌拼圖漸漸呈現一張完美的圖形前，因為一時疏忽導致引發骨牌效應，雖然不免挫折，但是每位學生擦乾眼淚，互相加油打氣，重新再來！
 金門大學學生會表示，在整場和平骨牌陣活動中，學生都自願犧牲課餘時間，來到金門縣立體育館進行骨牌活動。但是活動中，可看到金門大學生的毅力與耐力展現。「今天骨牌排了多少？」更已成為金門大學課餘的討論話題；參與學生相信「和平骨牌陣」不只是一場骨牌活動，而是一場自我挑戰的滿足；它不只是一場活動的表演，而是一群人信心、耐心、恆心的凝聚，讓金門成為「和平」精神的象徵！
   讓和平骨牌陣為金門和平藝術季創下最後的高潮；讓挑戰最高紀錄三十萬片，為金門創下台灣第一的紀錄。和平骨牌陣將於十二月十日啟動典禮，金門大學學生會邀請金門鄉親共同來金門縣體育館感受「金門和平骨牌陣～台灣第一」的讚嘆，更希望金門民眾能夠親自前往金門縣立體育場為這群學生加油打氣，相信民眾的一句「加油」，能更讓學生獲得更大的動力與信心，齊為金門創下台灣第一的新紀錄。

「一百年度產銷輔導與養豬政策宣導會」昨天在成功村舉行，目的之一是在宣導愛用金門本地的生鮮豬肉。金門養豬協會理事長陳國義表示，金門本地的生鮮豬肉有嚴密的防疫制度，在生鮮溫體豬肉巿場裡不會有來路不明的肉品「黑白亂來」。
據中華民國養豬協會理事長楊冠章表示，一百年度產銷輔導與養豬政策宣導會是全國性的活動，已經在臺灣各地舉辦過二十九場，金門是第三十場。在臺灣各地舉辦宣導會的目的是為了促銷國產豬肉及推動供需平衡，在金門舉辦是為了表達對所有的養豬戶都是一視同仁。
楊冠章表示，臺灣的豬肉生產若增加百分之三，價格就會下降百分之十五；因此，中華民國養豬協會（中華豬協）必須扮演協調的角色，在供需失調時，請行政院農委會出面協助。例如，目前臺灣的豬肉已有過剩的限象，因此必須請台糖公司延緩出售豬隻，以免衝擊巿場；另外，農政部門也會透過簡訊，讓每個養豬戶減少出豬的數量。
中華豬協祕書長王逢明表示，「一百年度產銷輔導與養豬政策宣導會」的舉辦，在臺灣各地是為了促銷國產豬，以免進口豬衝擊臺灣巿場－因為自從臺灣加入「WTO」（世界貿易組織）之後，只要是非口蹄疫疫區的豬肉，都可以進口到臺灣。
王逢明表示，臺灣地區在養的豬隻每年是八百二十萬頭，每年屠宰的豬隻是六百二十萬頭；臺灣地區的養豬戶只要能夠同心協力，維持這個平均數，就不致於造成價格劇烈的波動。
他說，相對於臺灣溫體豬肉巿場每天要屠宰二萬四千頭肉豬，金門地區每天屠宰的數量約為六十一、二頭。臺灣的肉豬被屠宰時的平均重量是一百二十公斤，金門的肉豬被屠宰時的平均重量是一百四十公斤。金門本地所產的豬隻，單價會比臺灣的豬隻價格高一些。
由於金門地區屬於封閉巿場，供需調節比臺灣做得還要好，因此「一百年度產銷輔導與養豬政策宣導會」在金門舉辦，聯誼的成份居多，中華民國養豬協會的參與，主要是表達對本地養豬戶的重視。
金門縣養豬協會理事長陳國義表示，宣導會的舉辦，就協會的立場而言，主要是鼓勵大家選用金門本地生產的豬肉。金門本地所生產的豬，平均比臺灣多養兩個月，加上以酒糟做為飼料，因而更加美味；而且來源清楚，不會「黑白亂來」，防疫工作也很落實，讓消費者的衛生健康有保障。
金門防疫所所長莊謙恭表示，金門縣生產的肉豬，有關豬瘟、豬丹毒的防疫工作是由各鄉鎮公所的獸醫守護，疫苗由防疫所提供。口蹄疫的防疫工作及藥物殘留的檢驗是由防疫所控管－目前，金門的雞隻、豬隻都沒有出現藥物殘留，消費者可以安心食用。由於防疫工作是一刻也不能鬆懈的，除了畜政單位及疫政單位的努力之外，他希望養豬業者還是要持續做好自主防疫。
昨天參加宣導活動者，包括了：中華民國養豬協會理事長楊冠章、副理事長蔡明財、總幹事王逢明、彰化縣養豬協會理事長張勝明、台東巿養豬協會常務監事林敏極、金門養豬協會理事長陳國義、總幹事蔡錦駒、金門縣防疫所所長莊謙恭、金門縣防疫所第一課課長王翠嶺、金門縣農會理事長陳國強……等。金門縣長李沃士也在餐宴開始後，到會場向參與的人員問候，並對養豬事業給予祝福。
金門養豬協會每年都會舉辦類似的豬肉推廣促銷暨品嚐活動，並將數百斤生鮮豬肉分送給每一位參加活動的人員；昨天約有八十多人參加。
根據蔡錦駒的說明，金門的豬隻飼養具備了安全、衛生、新鮮、美味等優點；在活動中，他們把豬肉當做食材，做成芋戀肉、芋肉排骨等美食供大家品嚐。

金門縣金沙鎮營山陳氏家廟重建落成奠安慶典昨起登場，現場貴賓雲集獻賀匾、爐敬金祝賀。裔孫陳昆第、陳榮昌、陳德海敬獻一官匾及兩博士匾，讓家廟增添光輝。青岐、后豐港洪氏姻親組成兩百三十位祝賀團，跨海前往參與慶典，陳氏宗祠奠安委員會熱情相迎，隊伍浩浩蕩蕩，所到之處鞭炮聲響徹雲霄，加上慶祝旗幟及燈、彩和戲劇公演，好不熱鬧。
上學堂金門縣金沙鎮營山陳氏家廟，昨日起熱鬧舉行奠安慶典，凌晨一時起鼓、請樑神、追龍、拜龍、請神、獻供品等揭開為期三天的熱鬧序幕。縣長李沃士主持點主後，各界祝賀慶典、家族及姻親等祭拜典禮隨之展開。
縣長李沃士、議長王再生依序率領府會團隊前往祝賀，受到營山陳氏宗祠奠安委員會、鄉親等熱烈歡迎，依循古禮敬獻「世澤綿長」及「源遠流長」並獻爐敬金致意。
另外，包括省府、立法委員陳福海、金沙鎮民代表會、五鄉鎮長由石兆日、陳成勇、陳昆第代表、五鄉鎮代表會主席等紛敬獻「宗義衍揚」、「源遠流長」、「祖德流芳」、「世澤長流」等彩匾致敬。而金沙鎮代表會主席王秀玉、代表蔡寶愛、金防部指揮官王世塗、政戰主任李智雄、議員陳滄江等也到場祝賀。
營山陳氏裔孫（第二十世）陳昆第敬獻「鎮長」官匾，第十九世裔孫陳榮昌，晉「博士」匾（廈門大學傳播學），第二十世裔孫陳德海，晉「博士」匾（美國紐約大學教育學院舞蹈哲學），讓家廟增添光輝。
后豐港、青岐洪氏宗親組成兩百二十三人慶賀團，由洪允典及二十位長老率隊，備豬羊等大禮，浩浩浩蕩蕩前往祭祖，行三獻禮完成祭拜儀式，由洪海福代表獻「源遠流長」賀匾，並與陳氏宗親聯誼用餐，欣賞戲劇公演後，賦歸。洪允典以雙重身分出席典禮致詞時表示，營山陳氏宗親僅十餘戶，能夠完成家廟重建，規劃如此熱鬧的奠安慶典實屬不易，期許雙方姻親情誼長長久久。
金沙鎮營山陳氏家廟重建落成奠安慶典，今仍有金門各地陳氏宗親慶賀團、過布橋、淨油、插柳、獻五穀等科儀，並關廟門。十二月七日啟扉，連日安排有戲劇公演，歡迎各界逗陣熱鬧。
金沙鎮營山陳氏家廟奠安委員會主任委員陳水能表示，營山陳氏與金寧埔後「朱浦上學堂」同源同支，開基祖文定公約自元末明初遷徙營東(今洋山)，迄今約六百多年，已繁衍廿二世。仍居住於洋山村宗親約十餘戶、四十餘人，其餘皆旅居台灣及馬來西亞、新加坡、印尼等地，在外宗親佔大多數。
家廟有史載以來，共計有三次修建，根據長老的口述說明，其中一次約是民國二十年重修後奠安。宗祠歷經戰火洗禮後奇蹟式未受太大損壞，九十二年在榮譽理事長陳天賜號召下，各戶安丁繳交重建，並組團赴星、馬向宗親說明重建家廟大事，惟金額不足，發起樂捐，順利於九十三年動工興建，斥資六百多萬元，歷時一年於九十四年完竣。
逢民國百年有大利，宗親自清明始籌備奠安事宜，除了一丁一萬元募得一百三十萬外，鎮長陳昆第捐一百萬元、榮譽理事長陳天賜、理事長陳水能也各捐三十萬，總共六百多萬元，順利於十二月五日農曆十一月十一，奠安大典，這是家廟百年的大事。
另外，宗祠完竣後，有感於史料缺乏，五年前開始著手，在蕭永奇的大力協助下，依舊譜（早年長老口述史）重編《浯江營東陳氏家譜》，這是宗祠建國百年的第二件大事，期許藉以傳承家族的歷史並聯結海外的族親。

  最近是金門各宗祠奠安的旺季，金沙鎮營山陳氏家廟正在舉辦家廟慶成活動，奠安儀式中，可以看到「六宿」；不久之前，在陳坑陳氏宗祠的奠安活動中，也有化六宿的儀式。

為紀念1954年（民國43年）「金門93砲戰」，英勇犧牲殉職的美軍軍官法蘭克·林恩中校，國防部在水頭碼頭豎立紀念碑，並於昨天隆重舉行揭碑儀式，藉以彰顯美軍與我國共建民主情誼的歷史意義。
座落於水頭碼頭，與「孟登道中校紀念碑」比鄰的「法蘭克·林恩中校紀念碑」揭碑儀式，於昨天上午十一時隆重舉行，由國防部陸軍司令部司令李翔宙主持，參加人員有陸軍司令部政戰主任鄭瑞堅、金防部指揮官王世塗、金門縣長李沃士、金門縣榮民服務處處長鄭有諒等軍民代表，美方代表為美國在台協會連絡組組長裴凱豐中校。
爆發於1954年九月三日的「九三砲戰」，主要是中共為阻擾中華民國與美國協商簽訂《中美共同防禦條約》，由大陸福建軍區以一百多門火砲砲擊金門，當時志願來華服務的美軍顧問團顧問林恩中校與同事孟登道中校在水頭殉職。
李翔宙致詞表示，在九三砲戰中，林恩中校殉職了，但自由民主存在了，金門地區更加鞏固。建立紀念碑除了感恩林恩中校對於自由民主正義的執著與貢獻外，期勉後人珍惜自由民主的可貴，愛護和平的真諦，矢言為正義和平奮鬥，期許華美兩國邦誼更加鞏固與堅定。
金防部指出，兩位美軍軍官為維護和平與正義而壯烈犧牲，間接催化中華民國與美國簽訂《中美共同防禦條約》，維護西太平洋安全與和平，其捍衛民主自由的英勇精神，深植國人感念和官兵效法。
其中，「孟登道中校紀念碑」早在1992年8月間，國防部應美國國民兵協會建議興建在水頭碼頭，「林恩中校紀念碑」則由國防部長高華柱倡建，並親自題字，以紀念共同捍衛台海和平的一頁。
法蘭克·林恩中校紀念碑上嵌中華民國、美國國旗及美軍顧問團團徽，碑文是以中、英文記載林恩中校事蹟，由國防部部長高華柱題字；其碑文：「中華民國衷心感念一位以生命捍衛自由民主的美國友人│故陸軍中校林恩。他志願來華服務，擔任美軍顧問團顧問派駐金門；民國四十三年在「九三砲戰」中為維護和平與正義殉職。政府代表全體國人頒贈雲麾勳章，表彰他的義行，今特立碑永表懷念。」
裴凱豐感謝中華民國國防部為林恩建立紀念碑，尤其是在與孟登道同時犧牲的位置建碑，是對兩人永遠的紀念。裴凱豐指出，對於美國而言，金門十分遙遠，1954年時，當他們兩人殉職消息傳回美國國內時，多數美國人難以想像發生了什麼事。接著在1954年九月六日，紐約時報登載一則消息，為兩位美國軍官在共軍進攻金門砲火下殉職，美軍即在台海部署第七艦隊，在美國稱為第一次台海危機，1958年第七艦隊再次部署，並支援金門作戰，而稱之為台海危機。
裴凱豐說，此後，他們兩人殉職的回憶在美國人心中逐漸淡去，1966年美國總統詹森在國殤日演說中再提及八位戰亡戰士，其中兩位即是林恩中校及孟登道，為建立和平而犧牲；因為美國相信和平不是從天而降，也不是我們希望而生，必需為和平而奮鬥，更需逐步逐步堆砌而成，他們即肩負此一使命。此一紀念碑的豎立，將見證台灣在亞洲維持和平關鍵角色，更將為追求和平鬥士永恆的象徵。
林恩中校紀念碑揭碑儀式，在演奏兩國國歌後，由李翔宙等共同揭幕，全體人員默哀一分鐘，並且獻花致敬，表達對林恩中校的追思，場面莊嚴隆重。最後，李翔宙和與會人員也到孟登道紀念碑前獻花致敬及追思，希冀後人奉為圭臬，珍惜中美兩國雙贏的歷史大業。
