「台灣十大觀光小城」票選活動，連日來不斷有其他縣市票數「大躍進」，讓排名「異軍突起」，由於狀況特殊，熱心網友向金城鎮公所反映，並向承辦單位轉達，昨日晚間涉嫌灌票的票數一概扣除，讓金門後浦小鎮的排名一下推進到第7名。有網友在臉書上表示，「真是老天有眼」。金城鎮公所則呼籲大家千萬不能鬆懈，還是要天天投票、票票入櫃，讓金門持續保持在前十名內！
截至昨日晚間九時止，金門金城後浦小鎮在「臺灣觀光十大小城」的票選活動中，累計總票數為60509票。其中網路投票拿到60102票，明信片投票則有407票。目前排名暫居第7，緊追在後的桃園大溪，與金門的總票數僅有約370票的距離。
比較特別的是，該項票選活動昨天再次出現名次大洗牌情形。由交通部觀光局主辦，遠見雜誌社承辦的票選活動，自啟動以來「機器人灌票」傳言不斷，主辦單位十日曾正式發佈新聞稿，呼籲各界公平投票，莫用「機器人程式」灌票來衝名次。當天並將涉嫌灌票的票數扣除，包括新北市瑞芳、台南安平等，都被查出有灌票情形，且幾乎有一半以上的票數都是假的。經扣除後，名次大洗牌，當天金門後浦小鎮的排名就曾經一度擠上第十名。十二日起，疑似灌票情形再度發生，原本票數被扣除的北市北投、北市信義、新北市瑞芳與台南安平，都重新回到前幾名，還有連江北竿，網路得票數在一天之內「暴漲」超過兩萬票。經熱心網友提供網路截圖向金城鎮公所檢舉，金城鎮公所也隨即向主辦單位反映。昨日晚間，連江北竿原本超過七萬票的超高票數，一下被扣了將近三萬票。整個排名也再一次大洗牌。
金門由於票票都是網友親自投下的有效票，且增長幅度符合真實狀況，並無異常，未有被扣除票數情形。金城鎮公所特別再次呼籲，金門已經擠進前十強，網友們不能鬆懈，還是要天天投票、票票入櫃！且明信片投票的部分，還有縣府加碼抽獎，請鄉親繼續踴躍參與，共同將金門推入「臺灣觀光十大小城」之列
