  真難得，太武山「梅園」的梅花綻放了！
   太武山「毋忘在莒」石刻與「海印寺」之間的「梅園」已有梅花綻放了！太武山梅花，當年是由「梅花將軍」率「梅花協會」的成員手植，原本有五百株。
  太武山的「梅園」，最初雖有五百株梅樹，但多年來，似乎很少被人注意到過有梅樹開花，也因此有人以「沒花開」戲稱這裡的梅花樹。
  不過，至少在前幾天，梅園往海印寺的下坡處，兩側的梅樹都有零星的梅花吐露芳華。
  民國七十六，蔣緯國將軍曾經與「梅花協會」到金門參觀，全體人員還在太武山「毋忘在莒」石刻前的山坡種植了五百株梅花。
  蔣緯國將軍是已故前總統蔣中正的次子，是已故前總統蔣經國的弟弟。曾經有人打趣地說，在中華民國，蔣緯國是最有資格唱「哥哥爸爸真偉大」的人。
  蔣緯國是中華民國陸軍二級上將；他生前酷愛梅花，因此有「梅花將軍」的美稱。他曾經擔任過國軍裝甲兵司令、聯合勤務總司令部總司令、國家安全會議秘書長、總統府資政。民國八十六年九月逝世。
  有「梅花王」之稱的大陸畫家王喜成曾經贈送蔣緯國《王喜成畫梅集》；蔣緯國在回給王喜成的謝函中說：古人造梅字，不寫成「木某」或「楣」，而是「人」「每」；「每」這個字又是「人」「母」，其意為人之母，人之本，代表了人性。
  蔣緯國還說過：梅花神姿綽約，玉潔冰清，傲雪沖寒，先眾木而花，先天下而春，梅花的品質實在值得每一個「中國人」喜歡。
  他是有兩岸統一思想的人－在某個時期，這是一種臺灣政治思想的主流；他曾說：梅「開」中道場，梅「合」兩岸強，巍巍中華，傲視大亞。
  據鄧蔚林所寫的〈側記蔣緯國將軍〉，蔣緯國生前熱切推動文化復興並提倡「我愛梅花運動」；民國七十六年年底，特別以專船運送五百株梅苗到馬祖前線。
  馬祖也有「梅園」。根據馬祖國家風景區的簡介，馬祖的梅園是為紀念經國先生的母親毛福梅而命名，由蔣緯國題字。園區內栽植著梅樹，每當寒流來時，就會有梅花催白，賞心悅目的情景。
  金門太武山梅園的梅花雖然綻放了，但卻是雨零星散，若是走馬看花，很容易當面錯過。
  前幾天，有人見到了梅花，主動清理了覆蓋梅花的攀藤及雜樹林，希望讓梅樹得到充足的日光，長得更好。據清理的遊客表示，當地的梅樹，有遭到摧折卻又重新活過來的跡象。
